Bluestone is a naturally formed grey blue limestone, therefore there will be varying tones within the same item, and both colour and size may vary slightly from the dimensions given, the image shown and from piece to piece.

The polished finish of the stone top will stain, so avoid contact with acids including lemon, cola, wine, vinegar etc. The surface should be treated with olive or linseed oil to protect it from acid or grease marks.

Clean the stone surface with a natural linseed or olive oil based neutral soap and warm water. The soapy water will nourish the stone and soften any micro-scratches. For scratches that appear in frequently used areas, use a natural uncoloured wax before polishing with a small hand polisher. Light scratches will be softened and become part of the patina.

Due to the nature of reclaimed wood, there will be varying tones within the same item, and colour may vary slightly from the image shown and from piece to piece.

Wipe both wood clean with a soft cloth or duster, avoid any abrasives or potentially harmful cleaning products.
